Regulatory disclosure requirements

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials to protect you from misleading advertising that’s been paid for by a company. Xgineering.com is an income source and will occasionally include endorsements and testimonials, it’s important to disclose the following:

By shopping using my links, you help me earn a living so that I am able to be more present while raising my boys. That being said:

  • I will only share products or services that I trust or recommend.
  • If I provide a review, the products have been gifted to me free of charge. This does not guarantee a positive review of the product. You, the reader, will always receive the straight talk on any item on my blog.
  • My goal is to provide the reader with helpful solutions and also earn a small income to help enhance my family’s quality of life. Affiliate links and advertising allow me to meet both of these goals.

Amazon Affiliates Program

I am a part of the Amazon Affiliates Program and use affiliate links to highlight products that I use or would recommend. I may make a small commission at no extra cost to you. Example of an Amazon link: https://amzn.to/3ugEIBG

Google AdSense

Occasionally, ads will be included on the page, the content is what Google determines would be of value to the reader. I make a small commission based on the number of users that interact with my page, at no cost to the reader. The ads will be clearly demarcated through out the main page and on the side bar.
